Just want to say what a great experience the International Blues Challenge was! I was honored to advance to the Semifinals. The atmosphere of support and camaraderie was noticeably different (better) from other music conferences I have attended. A true love of the genre permeated the events and performances. And even though the centerpiece was the competition, musicians were friendly and  generous and inclusive. Bravo to The Blues Foundation for producing such an inspiring and energizing event. And Memphis...these people really know how to have a good time!
